SINAI is the Navarrese R&D&I System, composed of public and private entities that work in a coordinated manner to generate knowledge, transfer it to the business sector, and benefit society.

The coordination of this system enables the planning, management, execution, and monitoring of policies related to research, knowledge transfer, valorisation, and innovation in Navarra.

According to the Regional Science and Technology Law, SINAI and its agents align with the priority areas and strategic technologies outlined in the Science, Technology, and Innovation Plans, and their activities fall within Navarra’s Smart Specialisation Strategy.

With the latest update of Navarra’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (2021-2027), the strategic priorities are:
